Same bike since 2018. Thousands of kids learned to ride on a Ride 10". Three things make it the bike Aussie families keep coming back to.
STRONG
Built to outlast the kid.
Steel frame. Sealed bearings. Replaceable parts for everything that wears. The Ride 10" launched in 2018 — same model, same build only a facelift since. Plenty of households are on their second or third kid riding the same bike. Big brother to little sister. Cousin to neighbour. The bike stays. That's the point.
BALANCE
Training wheels in the box.
Most kids learn balance bike-style — feet down, no training wheels. But not every kid is ready for that on day one. The Ride 10" ships with proper training wheels included, free, in the box. Use them for the first few sessions, then take them off when the kid's ready. No upsell, no extra purchase, no trip back to the bike shop
LEARN
Two ride modes. One brave kid.
Mode 1 caps the bike at a gentle 8 km/h — the speed where a 3-year-old can build confidence without getting thrown. When they're ready, flip to Mode 2: 14 km/h, full power, the speed of a fast jog. The mode switch is positioned where small fingers can't reach by accident. The call is yours, not theirs.
02
A first electric motorbike that's actually built for tiny riders.
There's nothing quite like the moment a two-year-old realises they can drive themselves. Twist the throttle, off they go. The Zippi Ride 10" is built around that moment — and the thousand moments after it where they get a bit braver, a bit faster, a bit more themselves.
Why this is the right first electric motorbike
Most kids electric motorbikes start at age 5 or 6. The Ride 10" starts at age 2. That's not a marketing claim — it's an engineering choice. We built this bike around the smallest riders we could safely build for, and it's worked for thousands of Aussie kids since 2018.
The frame is sized for a two-year-old's reach (440mm seat height, fixed — kids this size don't need an adjustable seat, they need one that doesn't move). The included training wheels keep the bike upright while your kid learns the throttle and brake without the added challenge of balancing. Two speed modes — 8 km/h low and 16 km/h high — let you keep the bike at toddler-pace until they're ready for more.

Why parents pick Zippi
We're two motorcycle families behind Zippi — Toby, Carmen, Laura and Mark. We built every bike in the range for our own kids first. They rode prototypes for two years before we sold a single Ride 10" in 2018. Eight years on, the same bike is in the same lineup — because it works.
When something goes wrong (it happens — kids are kids), you email an Australian family that owns Zippi bikes themselves. Spare parts ship from our Tasmanian warehouse. No call centre, no Shenzhen middleman.
The catchphrase is plain English: raise balanced kids. Bikes are how we do it.

Can a 2-year-old really ride the Ride 10″?
Yes. With the training wheels on, a 2-year-old can ride safely while learning the throttle and brake without the added challenge of balancing. Most start in mode 1 (8 km/h — about jogging pace) and don't use mode 2 (16 km/h) for the first 6 months. The seat height is set at 440mm to suit small toddlers. This is genuinely the youngest-age electric motorbike option in Australia.
How long do the training wheels stay on?
Most kids keep them on for 6-12 months. Some are ready to take them off at age 3, some closer to age 5. They unbolt with a couple of standard hex keys — no specialist tools, no return-to-shop trip. Plenty of families keep them on indefinitely so younger siblings can share the bike.
How fast does the Ride 10″ go?
Top speed is 16 km/h in mode 2 (the higher of two speed modes). Mode 1 is 8 km/h — about jogging pace, ideal for a 2-3 year old learning the throttle. The mode switch is on the bike, so you can lock it in mode 1 and walk alongside while they ride.
How long does the battery last per charge?
60-90 minutes of real-world ride time. Charging takes 2-3 hours. The battery is built into the frame (24V 2x9Ah, lead-acid). If you'd prefer a removable lithium battery, see the Rippa 12″ or 16″ — the Rebel and Rippa models all have removable lithium for charging away from the bike.
Can my kid ride the Ride 10″ on the footpath or street?
No. Like all kids electric motorbikes in Australia, the Ride 10″ is classified for private property use only. That means your driveway, your yard, a private oval, designated kids ride parks, or off-road on private land. It's not road-registered and isn't legal on public roads or footpaths.
What happens when my kid outgrows the Ride 10″?
Most kids move up to a Rippa 16″ around age 5-6 (depending on how confident they are). The Ride 10″ tends to get handed down to siblings or cousins — we still hear from families on their second or third kid riding the same bike from 2018. The frame is built to survive that.
What if something breaks?
Every Zippi comes with a 12-month manufacturer warranty. If something fails, you email us at sales@zippi.net.au and one of us family members picks it up. Spare parts ship from our Tasmanian warehouse, usually next-day Australia-wide. No call centres here.
How does the Ride 10″ compare to Stacyc?
Stacyc starts at the 12″ wheel size and ages 2-5+. The Zippi Ride 10″ goes a step earlier with smaller 10″ wheels, a fixed-height seat sized for toddlers, and training wheels in the box — designed specifically for the youngest first-time riders. Both are properly engineered; the Ride 10″ is priced roughly half of the Stacyc 12eDRIVE.
