Zippi Ride maintenance guide
Five-minute monthly maintenance that keeps a Zippi Ride 10" running for the next kid, and the one after that.
Zippi bikes are built to outlast the kid riding them — but five minutes of monthly upkeep makes the difference between a bike that lasts one kid and one that survives three. Here's the routine.
What this guide covers
- The monthly bolt check (and which bolts matter most)
- Tyre pressure for the Ride 10"
- Battery care — storage, charging cycles, what to avoid
- Cleaning after wet or muddy rides
- What to do if something doesn't look right
What you'll need
- The Allen keys from the original box
- A clean rag and a bit of warm soapy water
- A tyre pump (any standard pump works)
- About 5 minutes a month
The simple rule
If something feels different — a wobble that wasn't there yesterday, the throttle feels stiff, the bike pulls to one side — stop riding and check it. Most issues are a loose bolt or a slow tyre. The full bike manual covers the less common stuff.
