Setting up your Zippi Ride

Welcome to Zippi. The Ride 10" is the bike thousands of Aussie kids have learned to balance on, and getting it set up takes about fifteen minutes start to finish. The video below covers everything — written notes underneath if you'd rather skim.

What this guide covers

  • Unboxing and checking the parts in the box
  • Fitting the front wheel and handlebars
  • Adjusting the seat post to your kid's height
  • First charge of the battery
  • Testing the throttle before the first ride

What you'll need

  • The Allen keys included in the box
  • A flat space to work — driveway, garage, or kitchen floor
  • A power outlet for the first battery charge
  • About 15 minutes

Key tips

  • Always do the first charge to full before riding — gives the battery a clean baseline
  • Set the seat so your kid can plant both feet flat when stopped
  • The two-speed switch is your friend — start them on the slower setting
  • Helmet on for every ride, even short ones
